Construction Logistics Planning (CLP) Foundation Training delivered online by CLOCS.

This training course is the starting point for anyone looking to refresh or develop their CLP knowledge through a comprehensive introduction to CLPs, their purpose, the basic methodolgy and the many benefits to all stakeholders involved in the construction process and the communities affected by works.

It is particularly useful for local authority transport planners, clients, property developers, construction contractors and logistics operators.

This course aims to enhance awareness of the importance and benefits of CLPs and introduce you to the CLOCS CLP format and guidance.

The CLP Foundation Training is delivered across 2 consecutive mornings via Zoom.

Attendance on this course is a prerequisite for attending our CLP Practitioner Training.

Understanding more about the outline structure of a CLP, to provide a consistent approach between projects, was hugely valuable. I picked up some information I hadn’t really thought about before – it’s a good refresher for anyone involved in supply chain or site management

It was really useful hearing from other delegates, in particular those from the Local Authority side, about their own experiences and what they would like to see in CLPs. It was a good experience and the use of the breakout rooms and virtual whiteboards added to the interactivity

It was useful to work through the template for the document, learn about the 5 key aspects to consider and understand the value in bringing in wider consultation where possible
