Toolbox talks training, also known as safety toolbox talks or simply toolbox talks, are short safety training sessions that are typically conducted on a regular basis in the workplace. These sessions are designed to promote safety awareness, educate workers about potential hazards, and reinforce safe work practices.
Toolbox talks are important to building a strong safety culture and reinforcing a company’s commitment to protecting their workers and the wider communities affected by the construction activity, and also help educate and inform the workforce on important topics and ensure they are supporting the company’s efforts and activities.
Protecting vulnerable road users
The toolbox talk focuses on helping the safety of both construction workers and the surrounding community. We want to ensure that everyone remains safe in and around construction zones.
This toolbox talk is available in two formats: a concise 3-minute one-page document and a comprehensive 10-minute presentation, which includes an informative video.
The flyer can be accessed using the button below while the presentation can be accessed here.
We are committed to expanding our toolbox talk resources in the future to provide even more valuable safety information. If you have your own resources that you are prepared to share with the CLOCS community, please let us know and we would be delighted to work with you and give your company credit on any resources developed.
