11 September 2018

CodeNode, central London

The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) has recognised CLOCS as an important standard. CCS monitors around 9,000 construction sites, companies and suppliers every year, and CLOCS has partnered with CCS to harness their valuable network to deliver CLOCS Site Monitoring Visits for CLOCS Champions.

The Scheme is delighted to invite all CLOCS Champions to the must-attend annual Image of Construction event, taking place on 11 September in central London.

This free event provides a unique opportunity to:

  • Find out more about the Scheme.
  • Find out how CCS is integral to the CLOCS delivery team.
  • Attend practical workshops and presentations for guidance on how to raise standards both on and off site.
  • Meet representatives from a range of external organisations specialising in key industry issues such as: tackling illegal working and modern slavery in construction; improving mental health; recruiting the next generation; and reducing the environmental impact of air pollution.
  • Gain valuable knowledge from senior Scheme Monitors to improve performance against the Scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice, achieve higher scores, win national awards and help win new work.
  • Network with like-minded peers from across the construction industry.

CLOCS will be delivering workshops throughout the day to help more Project and Site Managers and Health and Safety Advisors to understand the commercial and ethical reasons their sites need to implement the national CLOCS Standard. The session will cover the key actions by the principal contractor and their subcontractors using HGVs to implement effective construction logistics plans that prevent collisions between HGVs and the general public walking or cycling.

This event is now fully booked.
