Increases to CLOCS fees to help driver safer logistics

26 September 2022

As the construction industry, and our wider society, continues to deal with high levels of inflation, CLOCS, like every organisation, needs to review fees on a regular basis to ensure they are in line with the increased costs in delivering the CLOCS programme.

At CLOCS, we continue to look at how we can help all Champions to maximise the many commercial and social benefits associated with safer, leaner and greener construction logistics.

  • Eliminating risk of collisions that result in harm to vulnerable road users
  • Driving down emissions and meeting targets for achieving net zero
  • Delivering social value

To support our collective ambitions for progress, and as approved by the CLOCS Strategy, Standards and Governance Board, the annual membership fee is increasing to £895 per annum from November 2022. This increase enables the CLOCS programme to continue our progress in preventing harm to the community from collisions and emissions and provide better tools and support to all CLOCS Champions – regulators, clients, contractors and fleet operators.

CLOCS CLP and SATM training fees will also increase but not until 1st January 2023 as our training dates for the remainder of 2022 have already been published.

What next?

All organisations becoming new CLOCS Champions after 1st November will pay at the new rate. Existing Champions only pay the new rate from their membership renewal date.

As a reminder, Champions making a 3-year commitment to CLOCS membership fees benefit from a 10% discount as it reduces the overhead cost of renewals and allows for long term planning and activities.  Please contact the CLOCS team for details.
