Here’s an example of how the new CLOCS Standard promotes the positive influence project stakeholders can have on each other and the potential benefits of increasing the flow of information between them.

You need information in order to address issues quickly and effectively. The new CLOCS Standard explicitly requires the reporting of collision date up through the supply chain to ensure that action plans can be put in place to prevent recurrence and importantly give oversight so that trends can be identified and strategically addressed. These requirements include:
Fleet Operators (FORS Standard O3). Road traffic collision data across the fleet operation shall be monitored, recorded and, where contractually required, reported to the client.
Principal contractors shall review information on all collisions resulting in harm (and near miss incidents) that occur on journeys associated with the project and ensure they are quickly investigated and actions taken to prevent recurrence.
