Brand new gate check video developed by CLOCS and DGP

20 September 2023

It is a critical requirement within the CLOCS Standard for Principal Contractors to ‘check through general observation and sufficiently frequent spot checks that vehicles and drivers meet the requirements of the CLOCS Standard and that the specified route has been followed’.

CLOCS has developed a number of useful resources over the years including checklists, non-conformance reports, site posters and much more, but what does a gate check actually look like?

Working with CLOCS Champion, DGP Logistics, CLOCS has developed a brand-new gate check film that walks through the process explaining what is required and why.

For those looking to ensure their gate checking process is as robust as it should be, this video could form part of the site induction, be used as part of a toolbox talk or be incorporated into a site training programme.

For anyone want to take this to the next level, CLOCS Site Access Traffic Marshall training is now available equipping delegates to deliver this training back in their operations and providing an annual licence to access CLOCS accredited materials.

Our next training takes place in London on 17th October.  Click here to find out more or contact a member of the CLOCS team on 0118 920 7200 or at support@clocs.org.uk to discuss.

Our thanks to Ruth Trant, the team at DGP Logistics and O’Donovan’s for providing the vehicle.
