Construction Logistics Planning (CLP) Training

Construction logistics plans (CLPs) are the golden thread that runs through the CLOCS Standard. A CLP is an important management tool for planners, clients, developers and principal contractors.

The CLP focuses specifically on construction supply chains and how their impact on the road network can be reduced. The construction supply chain covers all movements of goods, waste and servicing activity to and from site.

CLOCS offers three levels of Construction Logistics Planning (CLP) training with courses delivered throughout the year. These courses are suitable for those who just need a basic understanding of what a CLP is and how it works, right through to those who develop, manage and review CLPs as part of their role.

All CLOCS Champions receive one free place per membership year plus discounted prices for every course.

Delivered online by our industry trainers and with consistently great feedback, there’s no better time to book your place.

Site Access Traffic Marshal (SATM) Train the Trainer

This training is aimed at contractors wanting to become approved to train individuals within their own organisations, and training providers wanting to add CLOCS SATM to their training portfolio. Either way, CLOCS SATM training will ensure consistency in the training delivery across the sector and provides a robust competency assessment to ensure everyone has sufficient skills and knowledge to undertake this important role. The requirement for properly trained competent traffic marshals is a fundamental part of the CLOCS Standard.

I recommend all construction companies to implement CLOCS SATM training for all their traffic marshals as we do for Select logistics. as you can clearly and immediately see the improvements within the team

Trevor Shea, Logistics Operations Leader

CLOCS SATM Training is only available to CLOCS members. Clcik here to find out more.

Please note, the CPD hours do not apply to delegates trained by our accredited organisations, it only applies to those attending the CLOCS Train the Trainer course.
