CLOCS shortlisted for two industry awards

27 July 2018

CLOCS has been shortlisted for its achievements in Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the London Construction Awards 2018 and the APS National CDM Awards.

Both awards celebrate outstanding contribution to improved Health and Safety in the construction industry, whether through a specific product or through process adaptation, as well as providing a benchmark of excellence for others to work towards.

CLOCS is being recognised for its success in driving industry awareness of the issues around work related road risk and its impact on the adoption of corporate policies and actions on site and on the road to save lives, money and reputation. Its success is anchored in the 600 CLOCS Champions' recognition of shared responsibilities and legal obligations to protect everyone from harm through direct and indirect activities. Derek Rees, Project Director of CLOCS commented, “Everyone involved knows they have an important part to play in achieving Vision Zero – zero collisions – and everyone understands the need to collaborate, share knowledge and co-invest to accelerate positive change“.

The APS National CDM Awards take place on the 12th September at Stoller Hall in Manchester during the National Conference, while the London Construction Awards will be announced at the ceremony taking place at the Royal Garden Hotel on the 23rd of October.
