CLOCS is delighted to confirm that it is now officially a Delivery Partner with Driving for Better Business, the Government-backed National Highways programme helping employers reduce work related road risk.
The move sees CLOCS join a host of industry organisations who aim to work collaboratively to reduce work related road risk and support the Driving for Better Business vision of creating ‘a world where those who use the roads for work do so safely, efficiently and sustainably’.
CLOCS joins the likes of FORS, Logistics UK, the Road Haulage Association and many others to work together to develop and share valuable resources for the whole industry.
Andy Brooke, CLOCS Programme Director said “We are delighted to be a Partner of Driving for Better Business and work alongside them in raising standards across all areas of the construction logistics industry with the aim of providing safer, leaner and cleaner construction vehicle journeys. We share a vision of zero risk to vulnerable road users, improved air quality and reduced congestion on our roads, and will work with DfBB to identify and share best practice, develop practical resources, and educate and inform all stakeholders to ensure the safest construction vehicle journeys.”
This partnership is a real commitment to collaboration on behalf of both partners through the sharing of resources, expertise, support and thought leadership and the promotion of the values of the Driving for Better Business programme within our sector.
