On 6th July, we were delighted to hold our first live CLOCS Member Meeting since…well, what feels like a long time ago, and we were kindly hosted by the amazing team at Tideway London at the Cottons Centre with amazing views over the Thames.
With a good group in the room representing all of our stakeholder groups – planning authorities, clients, contractors, fleet operators, delivery partners and strategic partners – and many more joining online, it was a perfect opportunity to start a discussion around the CLOCS Standard update in 2024, and where we go next as a community.
CLOCS Programme Director Andy Brooke provided an update on membership, training, new initiatives and exciting development work in the pipeline.
Simon Anstead from the Metropolitan Police was there to bring his fascinating and insightful perspective on the issues of road safety and Lorraine Shepherd from Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity talked passionately about the work they do, sharing details of their amazing new campaign #makeitvisible.
It really was great to see our members, both in person and online, and really take the opportunity to hear what they had to say. Thanks to everyone for their contribution.
