Purpose of this directory
The Construction Consolidation Centre (CCC) Directory is one of several tools being utilised as part of a broader suite of interventions delivered through Construction Logistics. The use of CCCs aims to reduce both the volume and impact of construction-related road vehicle movements.
This directory identifies existing CLOCS-aligned consolidation centres and complements the Construction Logistics Plan (CLP) Guidance. It is designed to equip stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to minimise the impact of construction freight by promoting efficient construction logistics practices.
The directory serves as a framework to guide users toward facilities that can help improve the efficiency of vehicle movements servicing construction sites. The consideration and use of a CCC should be integrated into CLPs, in line with CLOCS guidance materials.
