As sponsors of Tuesday night’s Finalist Briefing for the Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYA), CLOCS had a great opportunity to directly address some of the most talented construction managers this year. In a welcome speech, Project Manager Tina McGeachan presented a clear message about the impact of construction activity and the positive actions that can be taken by those in charge of construction sites to prevent harm to local communities.
CLOCS has developed a strong partnership with CIOB, whose membership represents a major stakeholder in the implementation of the CLOCS Standard – CIOB chaired the 2018 CLOCS Conference and various editorials have featured in Construction Manager magazine, including an article on page 55 of the most recent edition entitled “CLOCS saves lives, money and reputation”.
