Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Construction Forum

19 February 2025

CLOCS is delighted to welcome the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport as a Strategic Partner and looks forward to working with their Construction Forum to driver safer, leaner and greener construction logistics.

The Construction Forum at the CILT is dedicated to highlighting the benefits effective logistics can deliver in the construction industry. Leveraging their network of logistics experts, they advocate for and lead initiatives that enhance construction supply chain performance, productivity, and safety.

Their members, who are passionate about construction operations and logistics, actively collaborate to drive discussions on how construction logistics can improve project performance. By joining the forum, participants can:

  • Explore different logistic thinking and techniques to support construction
  • Identify opportunities to make construction journeys safer and more efficient, thereby improving air quality, reducing congestion, and enhancing our ability to be great neighbours
  • Gain insights from real-life case studies that demonstrate best-in-class construction logistics
  • Network with construction logistics experts, speakers, and industry influencer
  • Get involved in shaping the narrative about what great logistics can do to support construction projects.

To join, visit their LinkedIn group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13128523/) and request membership. Once accepted, you can actively participate in discussions as well as attend meetings and events. While being a CILT member is not required, many find the benefits to their development and careers compelling enough to join.

We are delighted to have the Construction Logistics Forum as part of the CLOCS community bringing with them years of knowledge and expertise in construction logistics and a real passion for improvement, which can only help drive CLOCS forward in setting standards, sharing best practice and tackling common challenges facing our industry.
