Work Related Road Risk sits within our safety and innovations drive. At PURE we are dedicated to ensuring awareness and training is provided to all our staff where they can have a positive impact on reducing road danger making it a safer journey for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Our latest PURE LX logistics software has designed a Delivery System that shows live delivery data allowing our project/traffic management teams to manage and organise deliveries through a coordinated safer approach. The system ensures each driver receives a delivery driver induction briefing them on the project safety rules before then having their vehicle checked for CLOCS compliance before being allowed to access to its dedicated loading point. All these records are then digitally stored for any future recording purpose.
We joined CLOCS as they set the industry standard for vehicle management which ensures our project teams are educated on the importance of following safe systems of work, public interface, vehicle access/egress, vehicle safety features and compliantly carrying out CLOCS compliance checks.
Working closely with CLOCS and TfL allow us to share awareness and knowledge regarding improvements for VRUs. We recently experienced the TfL Cycle Experience allowing us to understand the daily challenges faced by Cyclists and how developers and contractors can design and implement inclusive layouts that are focused on the safety and protection of all types of cyclists.
We feel as a business we want to create a positive standardised culture and becoming a CLOCS SATM trained company allows us to continuously educate and develop all our staff to ensure an exemplary standard is delivered consistently across all projects.
Through SATM trained traffic marshals and a new innovative PURE Flow Traffic Management App we have raised the standards ensuring that all vehicles are accurately being checked and these records are now digitally recorded allowing for clear weekly KPI reporting ensuring any subcontractors not ensuring their supply chain are following the projects standards are addressed and supported to raise the non-compliance with their supply chain leading to a greater improvement of at the source.
We will continue to partner with CLOCS to ensure new compliance and improvements are promoted throughout the industry continuously designing new innovative processes that reduce Work Related Road Risks. Our future development plan is to look for the next challenge being faced by the industry and begin to develop our PURE LX software solution to support our teams/clients needs.
