On Tuesday 8th September, CLOCS will launch its CLOCS Works Campaign. We’ll be asking you ‘pick up your pens’ and join us in writing to your local authority, mayor or MP to ask them to embed CLOCS into local authority procurement and planning. This will accelerate national adoption of the CLOCS Standard.
Working with CLOCS Champions, RoadPeace, the CLOCS team has mobilised the support of the leaders of major UK sector bodies (with over 100,000 members between them) – Royal Town Planning Institute, Chartered Institute of Building, Institution of Civil Engineers, the Association of Project Safety, and Build UK.

All the above have added their signatures to our letter to all local authorities across the UK and the 25 Metro Mayors calling for public adoption of CLOCS. The letter will be sent on 8 September 2020.
We and our campaign partners will also be issuing press releases. We hope to attract local and media interest to amplify our lobbying activity.
This is the biggest national campaign CLOCS has undertaken and we need all our readers’ support.
